Removal of Additional Locations [Deprecation Warning] [Platform]: We launched Is Friendly To My Time event filter on March 23 to make it easier for the end-users to discover online events that better fit into their time-zone-aware schedule, regardless of their physical location. Similarly, we're launching in the upcoming week the same filter for Mentorship sessions. With that in place, we find little value in having the organizers and hosts manually curate the list of additional locations where their events/sessions show up in. As a result, we will be deprecating the Additional Locations feature on September 28. If you have any concerns/suggestions, please reach out to your admin or your PlusPlus Customer Success Manager.
URL changes: The URLs for Event Types, Tracks & Snippets, Articles, and Videos have changed. Now they are a little more descriptive but also a little longer. An example of a URL change would be from /event-types/123 to /event-types/123e4567-e89b-12d3-a456-426614174000_engineering-onboarding. The old URLs will redirect to the new ones, so bookmarked/stored links will still work.
Restrict access to a tab: Admins are now able to configure navigation tabs such that some of the tabs are only visible to members of certain groups. With this, we'll facilitate segmenting the experience people get from the platform. To restrict a tab, please reach out to your PlusPlus Customer Success Manager. [Platform]
Improved UI for event types on tracks: We made minor UI improvements to event types embedded on tracks to facilitate readability of the track. [Tracks & Snippets]
Show the check in rate over time: We updated Event Enrollment Status by Time Interval to include the check in count as one of the statuses. [Reports]
Improved Degreed documentation: We improved the "How to use Degreed & PlusPlus together" HC article to include additional details.
We removed customer logos from the login page. [Platform]
We fixed a regression that required a mentor to have to rate a session before being able to see their mentees' feedback. [Mentorship]
To prevent platform timeouts when enrolling large groups, we made enrollments asynchronous. [Events]
We restricted the "Edit" option in the People Dashboard that was appearing for organizers. [Dashboards]
Additional flexible filters [New Feature] [Platform]: We'll soon increase the number of flexible filters that admins can set up from 3 to up to 7 filters. In addition, for an improved experience, users will be able to apply flexible filters to all of their learning content, including Courses, Articles, and Videos. These filters will show up universally on the Catalog page. Coming soon!
Tracks revamp [Complete overhaul of an existing feature] [Tracks]: Tracks will soon gain their own description as well as the ability to include any piece of content from the catalog, including Courses and Videos. Moreover, tracks will be easier to create and maintain. Finally, the end-user track consumption experience will change from vertical scrolling to horizontal pagination.
