Problem

You want to model learning that requires multiple steps (such as onboarding), but you are not sure how.

Solution

Use Tracks.

To create a new track, go to your Catalog, and select New โ‡’ Track.

Discussion

Tracks are sequential learning paths. They are useful for modeling long arcs of learning, such as onboarding journeys, where you want your people to acquire new concepts in a specific order.

Tracks are composed of track items, which can be Articles, Videos, Event Types, and Courses.

As a learner, you can join or leave a track, engage with the assigned track items, and view your progress. Some track items are automatically completed (such as attendance in live events) whereas others (such as articles) require the learners to explicitly Complete them to conclude a step of the track. Leaving a track will not drop their previous assignment to already completed items.
