Feature Spotlight

Scheduled Tracks [New]: Scheduled Tracks feature continues evolving. With our deeper Slack integration, the platform can now automatically suggest and provision new Slack channels when you schedule your tracks and add new enrollees to those channels.

The Slack channel is created when scheduling a new track. Please note that this feature is currently only for scheduled tracks, not for regular tracks.

When a user enrolls into a track, they are automatically added to the Slack channel as well as the creator will also get added. Please note that currently any other Facilitators will not be added but can be manually - this is on the roadmap to have all Facilitators automatically added.

For this feature to work, we now require a slightly expanded set of Slack permission scopes, In particular, an admin needs to disconnect and reconnect Slack again:

  • Go to System Settings - Integrations - Slack

  • Click on "Disconnect"

  • Click on "Connect" again

  • Approve our app

As a reminder, to gain access to Scheduled Tracks, ask your admin to enable it via Settings > Feature Management.

Stay tuned! In the upcoming weeks, we will include the ability to automatically enroll people into Scheduled Tracks via Automated Rules.

Filter by Org Leads [Dashboards] [New]: Users with access to dashboards can now filter people, assignments, and enrollments by Org Leads - or managers of managers. This new filter can help provide insights into how different organizational pillars (e.g. under a particular VP or a Director) are doing on the platform. It can also be used to create org-specific automated rules - e.g. onboarding assignments. To try it out, go to a dashboard that can filter by people (e.g. Assignments Dashboard), click on “+ Add Filter” and select “Assignee Org Lead” filter.
