Scenario
As an Admin, an Organizer, or an event owner (for example, the event's presenter or host), you want attendees to answer an event survey on the spot. For example, you might show the survey on the closing slide, on a table card, or on a printed handout.
Solution
Open the event.
Open the context menu (button with three dots) and select Manage Surveys.
Open the context menu next to the survey you want to share and select View QR Code.
The QR code window opens.Check the Opens and Closes dates.
If the survey isn't open yet or has closed, a warning appears. Attendees can scan the code at those times, but they can't submit a response.Click Download PNG to save the code as an image, or click Copy to copy the survey link.
Click Close.

What the QR code window shows
Item | What it shows |
Survey name | The survey the code opens. |
QR code | Scanning it opens the survey in the phone's browser. |
Survey link | The same URL as the code, with a Copy option for email or chat. |
Opens / Closes | Shown in the event's time zone, for example Oct 28 at 1:00 PM (PDT). If no opening date is set, it shows Not scheduled. |
Warning | Appears when the survey isn't open yet, has closed, or has no opening date. |
What attendees experience
Scanning the code opens the survey in the phone's browser. Attendees must sign in to PlusPlus to answer. If they aren't signed in, they're asked to sign in first. Each person can answer a survey once, and only while it's open.
Who can answer
The QR code doesn't change who can respond. It opens the same survey as the survey link, with the same rules. Anyone signed in to PlusPlus can respond while the survey is open, so walk-ins and people who didn't enroll or check in can still give feedback. This also applies to people who can't see the event because of channel or group restrictions. External users can't sign in to PlusPlus, so they can't answer through the code.
Changing dates after you print
The code doesn't change when you edit the survey's dates, so a printed code keeps working. To change when a survey opens or closes, click Edit Surveys Schedule in Manage Surveys.
Downloaded file
The PNG is named after the survey in lowercase with hyphens (for example, post-event-feedback-qr-code.png). It's at least 1024 × 1024 pixels, so it stays sharp when printed or projected. Print it on a clean surface and don't place a logo over it. The code is generated with minimal error correction, so damage can make it unreadable.
Where QR codes are available
QR codes are available for PlusPlus surveys in an event's Manage Surveys. That includes surveys an event inherits from its Event Series. You can't get a QR code from an Event Series itself, from tracks, courses, articles, videos, or Guides, or for third-party survey links.
