Attaching a survey to an event type (soon to be called event series) ensures that all iterations of that event have the same survey attached. This can be overwritten at the event level so that its surveys can be unique from other iterations of the event type, or have its own Survey Opens and Survey Closes times.

Attaching a survey to an event type follows the same process as attaching one to an event. For more, see How to attach surveys to events.

For an event type survey, you can update the survey questions, change its open and close times, or remove it from the event type. These changes are not retroactive. They will only be effective for events of that type created after the change.
