Scenario

As an admin or content owner, you want to share LinkedIn Learning (AICC) content (a course package, an individual course, or a video lesson) with your org.

Solution

Import LinkedIn Learning content to the PlusPlus platform with this two-step process:

  1. Export a course/lesson from LinkedIn Learning as an AICC package.

But first, make sure the LinkedIn Learning integration is enabled in your instance of PlusPlus.

Export from LinkedIn Learning

Log into your LinkedIn Learning account as a Learning admin.

To export a course package:

  1. From Learning Management select Me.

  2. Go to Integrate > Playback Integrations > Select AICC Package.

  3. Select the package(s) you want to download.

  4. Click Download package.

To export an individual course or learning path package:

  1. From Learning Management select Content.

  2. Locate and select the course or learning path you want to download.

  3. Open the More menu and select Download AICC package.

To export an individual video lesson:

  1. Once you log in, click Go to Admin.

  2. Search for the course that contains the video you’d like to export, or click Content to explore the library for courses and videos.

  3. When you’ve located the video you’d like to add, open the More menu and select Download AICC package.

Import to the PlusPlus platform

On the PlusPlus platform, import each LinkedIn Learning AICC course package that you downloaded as an eLearning course.

Go deeper

While regular eLearning courses (developed in SCORM, for example) contain all of the course content, LinkedIn Learning AICC packages only include the meta info about the course (such as its title and location).

When your users launch LinkedIn Learning courses from PlusPlus, they are redirected to LinkedIn Learning where they can consume the course content (like watching videos). In turn, LinkedIn Learning automatically reports their course completions back to PlusPlus so that you can easily track their progress.
