Scenario

As an admin or content owner, you want to turn on the ability to share eLearning content (developed in SCORM, for example) with your org.

Solution

Enable eLearning directly in PlusPlus, following these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Content > Courses and turn on Enable eLearning.

  2. Still in Settings, go to Site > General.

  3. Unless it's already there, add "courses" to the comma-separated list of Supported content types.
This step exposes courses in the Catalog and determines the order in which they appear in the Catalog's navigation pane.

  4. Save your settings.

With courses enabled, you can now import your first new course to PlusPlus.

How eLearning integrations work

Our platform makes it possible for you to host all your SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, AICC, xAPI, and cmi5 courses along with your other self-paced, live, and blended content. This enables easy discovery, consumption, along with compliance and tracking. No LMS required.

Behind the scenes we seamlessly integrate with Rustici Software's SCORM Cloud to handle the actual playback of your content. Rustici is a leader in SCORM and xAPI standards and they are ISO-27001 certified.

Sharing learning info

You can decide if you want us to Expose learner info with the eLearning player (SCORM Cloud), as some courses may make use of this. If turned off, we only share the course content and the PlusPlus-specific learner IDs.

You can configure this setting at Settings > Content > Courses.
