Why use courses?

With PlusPlus you can upload your own eLearning content authored in tools like Articulate and Captivate. You can also link to external learning content, such as LinkedIn Learning, to engage your teams with course material. PlusPlus courses are ideal support for compliance needs. You can assign courses individually, integrate them into a PlusPlus track, or let people discover and engage them on their own.

Here are a few more benefits:

  • You can track who has taken a course and receive feedback from them.

  • You can easily keep course content up to date by importing new versions without having to create new course instances.

  • Courses can connect learners to other content you’re offering in PlusPlus, like office hours covering similar topics.

  • Team members can save a course so they can return to it easily and take it later on.

Solution

Here are the typical steps for offering courses on PlusPlus.

  1. Enable course content for your instance of PlusPlus.
For more, see How to enable eLearning courses. You can also check out How to enable LinkedIn Learning integration to be able to link to a LinkedIn Learning course.

  2. Upload an eLearning course file to PlusPlus.
In this step you can also give a course description, add categories and tags to make it discoverable, and more. See How to upload an eLearning course for more on this step, or see How to upload a LinkedIn Learning course.

  3. Assign the course to a team member.
You can assign the course directly to a team member as a one-off or you can add it to a PlusPlus track.

  4. Collect feedback on the course.
See who has taken the course and how learners rated it or responded to surveys about it. For more, see PlusPlus 101: How to get user feedback.

  5. Update the course as needed.
This includes the ability to import new versions of a course. For more, see How to update eLearning courses.
