Organize tracks into sections (preview)

You can now organize track content into more digestible chunks with track sections. Learners benefit from a sleeker and simpler user experience when consuming tracks. This feature is currently in preview, and will be finalized in the coming days. As an admin, you can enable track sections via Settings > Feature Management > Track Sections.

More track updates

We reorganized the way you create and edit tracks by separating track Details & Settings from Track Items. You set up track information (title, facilitators, and so on) on Details & Settings and you add content items and sections on Track Items.

Copy facilitators on notifications

In our previous release we added the ability to copy facilitators on the Content Item Completion notification. We’ve now expanded this capability to many other content and event notifications.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a bug where available spots for an event were not matching the current number of assignments

  • Fixed a bug that broke dialog window sizes

  • Fixed a bug that made enrollments from canceled events, assignments, and other archived items show up in the Upcoming section in the Manager Portal

  • Fixed a bug that prevented users from adding new content in the to a track

  • Fixed a bug that showed incorrect content types and links in the Assignments dashboard

  • Fixed a bug that caused GraphQL to display errors if a queried event type didn't have organizers

Upcoming: Tracks within tracks

We are following up our work on track sections with adding the ability to nest tracks within tracks. This is especially important for content creators who want to reuse common track components across multiple persona-specific tracks. This lets them avoid duplicating work and gives them a single place to track consumption and feedback.
